Read Across America-Celebrating Dr. Seuss

It was Read Across America Week and we spent the week celebrating Dr. Seuss's birthday and working on rhyming words!

After reading "The Cat in the Hat", we made our own hats to go with the story!
The middle school students came in to read Dr. Seuss books to us for "Read Across America"

We had a Wacky Wednesday!

All dressed up for a Wacky Wednesday!  The classroom was filled with "wacky" things!

We worked on rhyming words, counting, sorting, adding and patterning

We read the "Foot Book" and made our own Foot Book and worked on measuring our feet!
